Aass & Egge - Norwegian Single Malt
Identity and packaging design
Identity and packaging design
In 2007 neighbors Terje Aass from norwegian oldest brewery (Drammen) and 11th generation apple producer Marius Egge (Lier) decided to create the first norwegian whisky ever.
The project resulted into a 3 years old single malt whisky obtained by beer distillation and aging in oak barrels.
The visual identity consists in representing norwegian tradition through ancient symbology and a masculine dark design. The flag ribbon has been used to clearly distinguish the bottle on the shelf as a genuine norwegian product.
